Ten Francophone African photographers depicted the issue of food security across the continent as part of Imagine l'Afrique, a World Press Photo training program, in partnership with the International Fund for Agricultural Development. The book Food in Africa (Nourriture en Afrique) features their work, in a collection of in-depth essays exploring subjects from rice and cocoa to irrigation and nutrition in images and text.
